Subject #1 - Two cups of coffee

Around the 20th of August 2009 I moved out from my parents so that I could go to school. This was a few weeks before I turned 16. Moving out at that age is quite a normal observation where I come from, mainly because of driving distances. Moving out resulted in me spending a lot more time on public transportation than i had done before, which again resulted in me discovering a very ugly habit of mine. I tend to get really curious about people I see on public transportation. I did think of adapting it into a blog for a while, but my friends thought it was too weird, I was then re-inspired by Lev Yilmaz and now I'm here.

I once hade to buy a ticket for the "comfort class" section of the train. Comfort class is a lot more expenisve, but all the regular seats were booked, and I had no intent of sitting on the floor. You'd think that pricejump would come with a lot of benefits, but it's really just leather seats, more space for your feet and as much coffee you may want.

While I wasn't overly excited about paying that much for footspace and the smell of leather, I did enjoy the coffee, and apparently I was not the only one. This is where mr. Two cups of coffee comes into the picture.  The name explains itself. At first I had thought that he brought a cup for his friend, but it seemed he was travelling alone. Then I thought that he had one cup of tea, just to realize that there were no such thing as free tea in the comfor section (which I think is a bit sad). The man sat there and drank his two cups of coffee.

I was overly fascinated by this, and I never really figured out why he did it. I have this theory that he might have just been lazy and didn't want to go all the way back through the car for a second cup, which I thought was a good idea until I tried doing it myself with little success. The taste of not hvaing to walk was soon erased by the taste of cold coffee.
